Who Am I?

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m the girl behind “Her Asian Adventures,” and I’m absolutely thrilled to have you here

First things first, let me introduce myself. I’m a solo female traveler with an insatiable wanderlust and a not-so-healthy obsession with Asia.

Born and raised in Spain, I used to work as a lawyer in one of those top law firms.

But, after getting burnt out, I decided that the conventional path of college, job, marriage, and family wasn’t for me.

From the moment I took my first step abroad, I fell in love with exploring new places, trying new foods, and immersing myself in local cultures.

Join me on this exhilarating journey through Asia’s most captivating destinations.

Why Asia?

My fascination with Asia began the moment I made my first Korean friend.

Everything she told me, from the food to the culture to the religion, felt refreshingly different from everything I had ever known.

Back in high school, I was so eager to dive into this new world that I learned Chinese during my lunch breaks.

And during my college years, I had the incredible opportunity to study in China for six months and explore more of this incredible continent.

Asia, for me, isn’t just a destination; it’s a one-of-a-kind adventure. It’s the land of contrasts.

From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the relaxing rice terraces of Bali, each country offers something completely unique and worth exploring.

Asia travel guide. Solo female travel girl. About me.

While I absolutely love traveling the world, there’s something about Asia that keeps pulling me back.

I’ve found myself returning to this incredible continent time and time again, and I don’t see that ending anytime soon

Why This Blog?

It all began during my last Southeast Asia solo backpacking trip.

While I was there, I realized I needed a platform to share all my adventures and experiences with my family and friends, and hopefully, inspire them to visit this incredible region.

So, once I returned home, “Her Asian Adventures” was born.

Now, I’m on a mission to share all my knowledge and insights with amazing,  independent women like you.

Whether you’re an armchair traveler, a weekend explorer, or a seasoned globetrotter, I firmly believe that travel has the power to inspire, educate, and transform us.

Through this blog, my hope is to ignite your own travel passions, provide invaluable travel tips, and bring Asia closer to your fingertips.

My Travel Style

My travel philosophy is quite simple – immerse myself in local cultures, savor all the street food, and make real connections with locals and fellow travelers.

Also, I’ll admit it – I’m a total planner. I love having different options to choose from while I’m on the road.

While I do travel on a budget, I don’t mind splurging on worthwhile experiences, unique accommodations, or exceptional restaurants.

And that’s precisely why I love researching!

I´m also incredibly curious and love learning about different cultures and histories.

As a true extrovert, I love connecting with people from different backgrounds, yet I also cherish those quiet solo moments that make my travels even better.

Plan, budget, savor, explore, connect, repeat.
