Hey there! So glad you’re here. I’m a former corporate lawyer from Spain who realized I’d rather spend my time planning my next trip than reading case law. So, I left everything behind and booked a one-way ticket to Asia.
Planning that first Asia trip was super overwhelming. I’d only been to the continent once, had never traveled solo, and definitely couldn’t afford a tour guide or fancy travel agency.
So I did what any Type-A planner would do: I spiraled into hours of research—scrolling through social media, reading travel blogs, and figuring out everything from taking my first solo flight to how to haggle in local markets.
Fast forward to today—it’s still the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve driven my own tuk tuk through Sri Lanka, climbed the steps of Batu Caves in Malaysia, and checked off most of my Southeast Asia bucket list. Now, I want to help you do the same.
What Her Asian Adventures is All About
If you’re planning your first trip to Asia, I know how many questions are probably running through your head: Is it safe to travel solo? How much should I budget? What should I wear in Sri Lanka? And seriously—what do people eat for breakfast in Thailand?
That’s exactly why I started Her Asian Adventures—the blog I wish I had when I was figuring it all out. I’m here to help you plan an incredible trip to Asia without wasting time, money, or energy.
On this blog, you’ll find:

Fun Facts About Me
Because hey, we’re here to get to know each other, right?
- I love planning almost as much as I love traveling. Spreadsheets, detailed itineraries, color-coded maps—you name it. Yep, I’m that person.
- I take cooking classes in every country I visit… even though I’m still a terrible cook. At least I always eat well!
- I once read 40 books in a single summer. So yeah, law school made way too much sense back then.
- I’m scared of dogs. No clue why, but it was definitely one of the cons of visiting Sri Lanka.
- My big goal? Visit every single country in Asia—and eventually, the whole world.
If any of this sounds like you—or even if it doesn’t—I’d love to connect. Let’s plan your next Asia adventure together!
